The 6-3 Wyzykowski is the pride of West Deptford
boys basketball squad. The Eagles are off to a 4-1 start due to the
"Wiz" averaging 21.6 points per game. After leading the team to a 53-49
victory over Clearview in he Pioneer Hoops Tournament, Wyzykowski has
South Jersey taking notice.
Wyzykowski is a senior guard who keeps things
in control. His game is a mix of silent confidence and poise. Wyzykowski
scored 29 points in a huge come from behind road triumph over tough
division rival Haddonfield. In that game, the Eagles outscored the Bulldogs
28-7 in the fourth quarter to steal win.
In a victory over St. Joseph's that sent the
Eagles to the Pioneer Hoops Tournament final, Wyzykowski led all scorers
with 26 points, including sinking a couple of back breaking 3 pointers
that extended West Deptford leads and secured the game. His 19 points
in the championship versus Clearview paved the way to victory.
Teammates Tim Long and Terohn Howell are also
major factors in the West Deptford attack, but pay attention to this
warning: Eric Wyzykowski is a dangerous player.
